Q. Check Auto Shipping References before using any car transport company

A. A great place to start for honest car transport references is somebody you know who has already used a company for shipping a vehicle and was satisfied with there service.
For example, if you know your next door neighbor is a snow bird and goes every winter to Florida, then ask them which company they use for auto transporting their vehicle.

Another good source for references on companies is the Better Business Bureau, which usually has information on a company (including auto shipping companies) and can notify you of past situations, as well as the outcome of those situations. You can also ask the car shipping company if they can supply you with references such as dealerships or corporate companies they service.

Lastly, you should contact the state or federal Department Of Transportation and check to see if the car shipping companies license is valid and up to date.
